The fire crackles in the middle of the Zermatt forests under a clear starry sky. After a walk through the snow-covered forest, you will be welcomed by a local host with a warming drink and spoilt with a cheese fondue over an open fire. Far away from the lights of Zermatt, the starry sky and the silence of the forest create a unique atmosphere. The perfect outdoor experience for smaller and larger groups, as a team event, family experience or a special evening with friends! We look forward to seeing you.

7 p.m. at the fire pit. The walk to the fire pit takes 30 minutes.
You will meet your guide directly at the fire pit in the forest. From the village (train station), you can reach the fire pit via a path with steps and then a flat section of forest in 30 minutes on foot.
You walk alone to the fondue. Your guide will be waiting for you there by the fire.For an additional charge of CHF 150 per group, a second local guide will pick you up at Hotel I Apartment, accompany you to the fire pit and bring you back to Hotel I Apartment after the fondue.

approx. 2.5 hours (30 minutes hike up, 1.5 hours by the fire, 30 minutes hike down)

Good, warm shoes, warm clothing, headlamp or torch (guests also receive torches for the way back to the village)
